Our Purpose: 

Mystic River Reptiles was founded through a deep appreciation for the ball python and a commitment to responsible reptile keeping. What began as a personal passion grew into a shared family journey. Over many years of caring for, learning from, and breeding these incredible animals, we developed a deeper understanding of what it means to be responsible stewards of a species we admire.

Our mission is simple: to promote responsible ownership, ethical captive breeding, education, and conservation-minded practices that help create a future where ball pythons continue to thrive both in human care and in their natural environments.

Creating a Sustainable Future: 

The goal is not to separate people from wildlife, but to create a future where people and wildlife can thrive together. We believe the strongest conservation efforts are those that create more value by preserving healthy populations than by removing animals from their ecosystems.

Our Rescue Vision: 

Captive animals deserve quality care, and wild animals deserve protection in their natural environments—both matter. As Mystic River Reptiles grows, our long-term goal is to use our success to establish and bankroll a non-profit refuge dedicated to unwanted captive ball pythons. We believe the animals already in human care deserve our utmost commitment and compassion. This future refuge will provide lifetime care for abandoned animals and support for owners who can no longer provide care.
